A founder of API Architects and Planners, Frank C. Boots has been crafting innovative design solutions for over four decades.  With his unique ability to maximize the usefulness of spaces, Frank has been called on to design a wide variety of projects; from complex medical facilities to innovative professional offices and high impact retail projects, from appealing multi-family housing to inviting hospitality venues and highly organized government buildings.

Frank performs and directs project design through all phases, working closely with clients and government jurisdictions to achieve the desired results.  He leads the project teams creatively, ensuring the practicality of all design concepts.  He also leads the firm’s delivery process and is instrumental in the direction of the firm’s growing architecture, planning, and management staff.

Frank earned his professional degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and licensed in California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado.  A member of the American Institute of Architects, Frank serves his local community through Rotary and Shriner clubs and in the past as president of Modesto’s Downtown Improvement District.
